Journal of Library Innovation (LIBBI) is an international peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to research on libraries, information management, digital knowledge, information literacy, archives, scholarly communication, and innovation in information services.
The journal publishes theoretical, empirical, technological, organizational, behavioral, and policy-oriented studies across Library Innovation and Digital Transformation; Information and Knowledge Management; Information Literacy and User Studies; and Libraries, Archives and Society.
LIBBI particularly welcomes research that addresses the transformation of libraries and information institutions in the digital era, including digital libraries, smart library services, artificial intelligence in libraries, research data management, metadata and knowledge organization, digital preservation, open science, scholarly communication, information behavior, digital inclusion, and emerging information services.
Interdisciplinary contributions from computer science, education, communication, management, sociology, artificial intelligence, archival studies, digital humanities, and information systems are welcome when they demonstrate a clear contribution to libraries, information management, knowledge organization, archives, information literacy, scholarly communication, or information society.
